Axis Bank, a top private sector bank, has recently launched a new credit card in partnership with Shoppers Stop. This new card called the Axis Shoppers Stop Credit Card, is designed to provide exclusive rewards and benefits for clothing and beauty purchases.

The Axis Bank Shoppers Stop Credit card offers a range of benefits, such as welcome bonuses, reward points on shopping, fuel surcharge waivers, dining discounts, and much more. The partnership is expected to help Axis Bank expand its retail customer base and offer superior payment services. According to Sanjeev Moghe, Head of Axis Bank Cards, Payments, this credit card partnership will provide customers with excellent shopping experiences and payment propositions. Meanwhile, Shoppers Stop CEO Kavindra Mishra expressed his hope that the partnership would reinvent the shopping experience by providing consumers with exclusive rewards and continuous banking services.

Cardholders can enjoy a complimentary Shoppers Stop First Citizen Club Golden Glow membership, which allows them to earn reward points on in-store and online purchases. Shoppers can earn one reward point on every purchase of Rs.34 and 2% more reward points on exclusive brands and special sale days.

Additionally, cardholders will receive a complimentary Shoppers Stop voucher worth Rs.2,250 as a welcome bonus, which can be redeemed at Shoppers Stop and Home Stop stores. If they spend Rs.200 on beauty or other brands at Shoppers Stop, they will earn 12 First Citizen points, and if they shop elsewhere, they can earn 2 First Citizen points.

In addition to shopping benefits, cardholders will receive a special discount on EasyDiner. If they make a transaction of Rs.2,500 monthly, they will receive an instant discount of 15%, up to Rs.500, on EasyDiner. Regarding petrol and diesel, if cardholders spend between Rs.400 and Rs.5,000, they will receive a 1% fuel surcharge waiver that can be waived up to about Rs.400.

To acquire an Axis Bank Shoper Stop credit card, there is a joining fee of Rs.500 plus taxes and a renewal fee of Rs.500. However, the renewal fee is waived if the expenditure is Rs.1 lakh and beyond. The bank levies an interest rate of 3.6% per month on the outstanding balance, which amounts to 52.68% interest annually. Late payment fees are Rs.1,200.
