The country’s largest private sector bank, HDFC Bank, has introduced new services, including a virtual credit card, which is a digital card. With a Rs. 500 annual fee, this card offers many benefits, including the ability to choose the credit card billing cycle date and the card’s design.
The new virtual card, Pixel Play Credit Card, can be obtained through PayZapp, an online platform. No physical card is required, and the joining fee is low. Users can choose their card’s design and control the billing cycle.
How to obtain HDFC Bank Virtual Credit Card
Users need to download PayZapp from the Google Play Store, and existing users should update the app. Once in the app, they can click “Apply Now for PIXEL Play” on the home page to get the credit card. The card offers 5 % cashback on BookMyShow and Zomato under the Dining and Entertainment category, as well as on MakeMyTrip, Uber, Blinkit, Reliance Smart Bazaar, Croma, Reliance Digital, Nykaa, and Myntra under various categories.
E-commerce merchants like Amazon, Flipkart, and PayZapp offer a 3% cashback, and users can get 1% unlimited cashback on every transaction. The joining fee of Rs. 500 can be waived within 90 days of receiving the card if Rs. 20,000 is spent, and if the user spends more than one lakh in the previous year, the fee for the next year is also waived.
Salaried employees aged between 21 to 60 with a monthly income of more than Rs. 25,000 and self-employed individuals aged between 21 to 65 with an annual income of more than Rs. 6 lakhs are eligible to apply for the card.
