PhonePe-Credit Line: How to Send Payments if No Funds in Your Account


Great news for PhonePe users! You can now make payments even if there is no money in your account, thanks to the new PhonePe-Credit Line feature.

With the growing popularity of UPI payments, services like Google Pay and PhonePe have become widely used across towns and rural areas. By linking your bank account with your mobile number, you can make payments anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection and money in your bank account.

PhonePe has recently introduced a new feature that allows customers to make payments even if they don’t have enough funds in their bank account. To use this feature, you need to have a credit line facility from your bank. Once you have the credit line facility, you can link it with PhonePe and make emergency payments even when there’s no cash in your account.

To enable this feature, PhonePe users should follow these steps:

  1. Go to the profile section in the app.
  2. Select the bank option.
  3. Choose the bank that offers the credit line facility.
  4. Link and set your UPI PIN.

After completing these steps, you will be able to see the credit line option on the payment page. Recently, Karnataka Bank and Navi Technologies have introduced the credit line on UPI service, providing customers with the opportunity to make additional payments. This new feature aims to increase credit utilization and benefit PhonePe users.
