The Tata Group is no exception to this trend, and investors are anxiously waiting for a series of IPOs from the TATA group in the next 2 to 3 years. Investors eagerly await IPOs in the stock market, as they often offer bumper returns in the listings themselves.
According to some executives related to this matter, the Tata Group is preparing to launch public issues for many companies to increase the company’s value, accelerate growth, and show exit options to selected investors. The companies expected to enter the markets in the next two to three years include Tata Capital, Tata Autocamp Systems, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, Big Basket, Tata Digital, Tata Electronics, Tata Housing, and Tata Batteries. The group also intends to give more impetus to new generation sectors like digital retail, semiconductors and electric vehicle batteries.
However, Tata Sons has not issued an official statement on this issue, and no official representatives have spoken. A company representative said that entry into the capital market is always strategic, and there is no plan to issue an IPO to influence the markets.
It’s worth noting that in November 2023, Tata Technologies came to a public issue to raise Rs.3 thousand crores, almost 20 years after the IPO of Tata Consultancy Services in 2004. As expected, Tata Tech’s IPO provided good profits with the listing itself.
