UPI Payments Now Easy with New WhatsApp Pay Feature from the Chat List

WhatsApp Pay’s new Feature makes UPI payments faster and more efficient. It allows funds to be transferred directly from the chat list using the QR code scanner in the middle of the WhatsApp scanner and the camera symbol.

WhatsApp users can now access a new feature that will make their UPI payments easier. The chat list will now display a QR code scanner to streamline payment. WhatsApp claims this new feature will make UPI payments faster and more efficient.

UPI payments are becoming increasingly popular in India, and many companies have entered this field. WhatsApp, the most popular messaging platform, has also launched its UPI payment services. However, users have not embraced the service yet despite being introduced for many days. Users who primarily use WhatsApp for chatting, viewing statuses, and making audio and video calls seem not as keen to use it for payments. As a result, WhatsApp has devised a new plan to reach users and make the payment feature more accessible.

Currently, WhatsApp users have to go to the payments menu in the three dots menu and complete the payment process if they want to make UPI payments. This option is not visible to many users. However, with the new update, users can complete the payment process directly from the chat list using the QR code scanner in the middle of the WhatsApp banner and camera symbol.

The payment can be completed from the account linked to WhatsApp UPI, saving time and improving user experience. This new feature is currently available for Android beta testers. WhatsApp says that the feature will roll out gradually to those who have downloaded WhatsApp beta version 2.24.7.3. WABetaInfo, which provides regular information about upcoming WhatsApp features, revealed this news. The new payment feature will soon be available to all other users.
