Axis Bank Debit Card PIN Generation by ATM

Using this facility, every bank user can generate an ATM PIN for their debit card simply by verifying the Card and account holder details through OTP. At any Axis Bank ATM, you may generate an ATM PIN for your Debit Card by following these steps.

Step-1:

1. Insert your Axis Bank Debit Card into the Axis Bank ATM and choose “Set PIN” from the menu.
   • When you choose this option, an activation passcode (Four Digits) is sent to your registered phone number & email ID with a limited validity period.

Step-2:

Once you have received the passcode from your bank, you need to create a PIN on your own using the steps below.

1. Again visit the Axis Bank ATM near you. Insert your bank debit card and enter the Secret 4- Digit PIN Code (received by SMS or email).
2. The ATM asks to “Change PIN”, Now can create your own by entering a PIN of 4 digits and confirming it again.

Note: You must register your mobile number and date of birth with Axis Bank to utilize this feature. If you are not registered, don’t hesitate to get in touch with your local Axis Bank Branch to register.

*The primary account holder’s data (date of birth) must be entered into the ATM screen in order to set a PIN on the joint account holder’s debit card.

Axis Bank Debit Card PIN Generation Online by Axis Mobile Banking App

Using your Axis Mobile Banking App, you may create or generate a Debit Card PIN whenever you want by following the steps.

1. Open the Axis Mobile Banking App and go to the top left corner of the “Home” button.
2. Select “Banking” from the drop-down menu, then “Services” from the sub-menu.
3. Now from the list select the “Debit Card” option and then click “Set or Reset PIN“.
4. Now choose your debit card and enter your 4-Digit PIN, and confirm again it through MPIN.

The Debit Card’s PIN will be updated to the New ATM PIN you specified right away.

Axis Bank Debit Card PIN Generation Online through Net Banking

Using the Internet Banking facility, you may create or generate a Debit Card PIN at any moment by following the procedure.

1. Login by providing your Username & Password at the Axis Net Banking portal at https://www.axisbank.com.

The Phone Banking facility is another way to Generate your Debit Card PIN by phone call. It’s a Two-Step procedure that begins with the creation of an Activation Passcode, which is used to generate your new PIN.

The process of Receiving the passcode for activation

1. Please dial 1860-419-5555/ 1860-500-5555 from your registered mobile number and follow the IVRS options.
2. Select “Option 1” (for information on your banking account), then “Option 4” (for Debit Card-related services), and then Generate PIN.
3. Enter your card number, expiration date, and date of birth by following the instructions.

Your registered cell number will get an activation passcode shortly. Please keep in mind that the Activation Passcode is not your Debit Card PIN, it is an intermediary number that must be entered in order to create your Debit Card PIN.

To Create a PIN by using the Activation Passcode

You’ll need to call customer support from your Bank-registered mobile number after you’ve received the activation passcode.

1. Again, Dial 1860-419-5555/ 1860-500-5555 from your phone and follow the IVRS options.
2. Select “Option 1” (for information on your banking account), then “Option 4” (for Debit Card-related services), and then Generate PIN.
3. Verify by entering your ATM Card Number, Expiration Date, and Date of Birth.
4. Give responsible input “I have already received your activation code” or “Got Passcode “on your phone.
5. Enter a new ATM PIN, which will be given to you over the phone and provided to you through SMS.

Your new ATM PIN will be given to you over the phone and also sent to you via SMS.
